Kimi Evans 6’3/F/Jr  St John Vianney-(Holmdel,NJ)
Evans is the anchor of her St John Vianney-(NJ) team utilizing good footwork and solid low-post maneuvers to go along with the ability to finish at the rim with a soft touch. She rebounds her area and passes well out of double team situations.

Faith Masonius 6’1/F-G/Fr   Manasquan-(Manasquan,NJ)
Masonius is one of the most versatile prospects in the region being able to drive to the basket from the wing as a slasher or go inside to score tough baskets. Her shot is smooth from the mid-range area and she is a solid defender.

Aubrey Griffin 5’11/W/Fr   Ossining-(Ossining,NY)
Griffin is a young wing-forward with an efficient game, she also runs the floor very well and is productive playing without the basketball, these attributes along with her length allows her to score inside at a high rate.

Dominique Toussiant 5’10/W/Sr  Christ The King-(Middle Village,NY)
Toussiant is a highly athletic wing prospect with a good motor, her perimeter shooting has improved so has her ability to drive an slash to the basket to punish defenders to draw fouls and convert from the free throw line. Toussaint is committed to The University of Virginia.

Jennifer Oduho 5’11/F-G/Sr  Villa Maria Academy-(Malvern,PA)
Oduho is a forward prospect that plays hard and likes to work out of the baseline area shooting a short jumper or driving to the rim to finish inside. Oduho is committed to Youngstown State in Ohio.

Anna Sweny 5’6/PG/Sr Villa Maria Academy-(Malvern,PA)
Sweny is a well coached point guard with good speed, ball handling and shooting ability. She can also get into the lane and set up teammates for open shots, Sweny is committed to Canisius.

Basketball Wall Street USA: Prep Notebook

Megan Walker 6’1/G/JR  Monacan-HS-(Richmond,VA)

Walker has lived up to the laurels as the No.1 prospect in the 2017 scholastic class, she has played very well on the travel club scene and also in high school scoring 50-points against a Cosby-(VA) team with players committed to North Carolina and Wake Forest respectively. Walker’s stellar play has drawn the likes of distinguished Women’s basketball coaches such as the University of Connecticut’s Geno Auriemma (above) and Muffet McGraw of Notre Dame to attend her high school games in Richmond, Virginia. At this point in their 2017 recruiting  UConn has just recently received a verbal commitment from Alexis Gordon a 5-foot-11 wing/guard out of Lawrence Dale Bell-HS-(Hurst,TX) and already had a  previous commitment from Andrea Espinoza-Hunter a 6-foot junior guard at Blair Academy-(Blairstown,NJ) . Currently Notre Dame’s 2017 class is wide open without any prospects committed yet.

Michelle Sidor 5’7/G/FR   Saddle River Day-(Saddle River,NJ)

Sidor is an exceptional guard prospect that possess a high level of dexterity and the innate ability to be a gifted scorer and the killer instincts to punish the defense. Sidor is leading the state of New Jersey in scoring as a freshman with a 27.8-PPG average and is on her way to becoming a very special player.

Lindsey Halpin 5’8/G/ Jr    Irvington HS-(Irvington,NY)

Halpin is a gamer and a guard prospect with a high IQ, her perimeter shooting is consistent with good form and a smooth follow through. Irvington high school located in lower Westchester County has always put out division one girls basketball players and is also a top tier academic school. Halpin is a solid division one prospect.

Jahsyni Knight 5’7/PG/Soph    Rutgers Prep-(Somerset,NJ)

Knight is the consummate point guard being able to run her teams offense and get everyone involved utilizing elite speed, passing and ball handling. Knight is also very coach able and possess an advanced IQ under the tutelage of head coach Mary Coyle Klinger.

Jean Ribault has just won their 11th Florida State Basketball Championship , the 2015-16 Lady Trojans went (28-1) and are led by #10 Rennia Davis a 6-foot-1 junior guard, #24 Day’Neshia Banks a 5-foot-10  junior guard and #3 Kayla Rogers a 5-foot-7 senior point guard committed to Florida International. Head coach Shelia Seymore-Pennick is the fire and the direction of the team, she exudes such passion and toughness from the sidelines and her players respond.

Located in the heart of Jacksonville, Florida’s north side Ribault is used to success in girls basketball. In 2002 the Lady Trojans went (28-1) and were runners up to USA Today’s No.1 team Lynwood-(CA) (33-0)  led by Sa’de Wiley Gatewood a 5-foot-9 guard  that went on to Tennessee and Janice Bright a 5’9 shooting guard that committed to Nebraska both were McDonald’s All-Americans.  Ribault’s most famous players are Dorian Williams a 5’6 guard and Erica White a 5’4 point guard both McDonald’s All-Americans. Williams went on to Florida State and White had a stellar career at Louisiana State University respectively.
