Dakota Daniello, is on the right track to being a high quality student-athlete. While just an 8th grader, she has exhibited great maturity, and a significant basketball skill-set. She is also a well-rounded young lady, excelling in the classroom prepping at The Masters School of Dobbs Ferry, New York. Daniello’s athletic and artistic prowess spread across a broad range of activities. “I run track, Soccer, and am a musician, as I play in multiple bands as a drummer. In School, I take drum lessons and I’m part of the “EFFECT” which is a group at school that promotes awareness about the environment. I deliver food with the local food bank and volunteer with several community organizations including The Alzheimer’s Association and Lavelle School for the blind.” Said Daniello, who was honored at Madison Square Garden receiving the Dave DeBusschere Award (pic above) for excelling on the court and in the classroom. At an early age, the Cortlandt Manor N.Y. native is very focused and goal orientated. “My goal is always to work hard on my game and get better, to work with trainers on different parts of my game as well as strength and agility training to be the best team player for both my high school and travel teams. I want to visit schools and attend camps at Colleges that are a a potentially good fit, and participate in tournaments to work on my game and hopefully have colleges come watch us play!” Look for Dakota Daniello to have a bright future as a student-athlete, and to have a great summer travel basketball season.
